Fragile people
Fragile people
Looking for a little happiness
Fragile people
I know, I know them
Sensitive and easily upset
Fragile people
Pamper them, spoil them
Oh, never put them under pressure
They try to live like someone else
But that often isn't easy for them
They keep giving alms to the homeless
They keep striving for the good
When they are robbed, forgive the perpetrators
They never once say an unequivocal "no"‘
Fragile people just fall to pieces
Fragile people can sometimes suddenly have a crack
Then they carve hearts with arrows into deciduous trees
Start recruiting Greenpeace members
Because baby seals are dying everywhere
Or they go, for Sudan, with a bus from door to door
Thank heaven for fragile people
They give our lives purpose and meaning
And when they die wrongly,
Ads with nice things in them
